3 Ways to Bid...
Customers can bid:
- In person at the auction site. Register here to bid in person at live site auctions or visit our site office to register.
- Online - register here for our online bidding service. Online bidding is available for all our auctions.
- By placing a commission / pre-bid bid - register here for our commission bidding service if you are unable to attend in person or place an online bid, simply contact us to register and place your commission bid.
To place a bid on any Lot, a Bidder Number is required. Please note if registering online, our admin department will allocate a Bidder Number once you have registered online.
Getting a Bidder Number
Bidder Numbers are unique to each auction and you must register for a Bidder Number before every Auction. You may register online, or in person at our site office before the auction. Please see our Registration Requirements for further information. By completing the Registration Form you automatically agree to be bound by our General Terms & Conditions and the Special Conditions of Sale.
If you intend to bid in person at the auction site, your Bidder Number can be collected from our site office on viewing days or on auction day.
Winning Bids are assigned to the relevant Bidder Number as Lots are sold and buyers should note that Buyer’s Premiums (as specified in the Special Conditions) are added to all Hammer Prices. VAT * is charged on the Hammer price and the Buyers Premiums unless stated otherwise by the Auctioneer or in the Auction Catalogue. (*VAT is charged at the current UK rate).
